The solution
was to change the layout of the rear garden, to change
the existing stainless steel water feature for something
more elegant and in keeping with the house - a hand
hued granite water wall by Andrew Ewing uplit with fibre
optics and replace the paving with a pale cream portuguese
limestone cut in large slabs.
The lighting was also overhauled and in addition to
the fibre optics uplighting the water wall, a range
of border lights were set under the specimen plants
such as the tall bamboos screening the garden from neighbouring
properties.
The front garden was also revamped, the paving was
changed and the planting was redesigned and simplified. |
